No. 19/2011 Local Government Act 1989 Local Government (General) Amendment Regulations 2011 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 19 April 2011 Responsible Minister: JEANETTE POWELL Minister for Local Government MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Local Government (General) Regulations 2004 to make a consequential amendment as a result of amendments to the Local Government Act 1989 made by the Local Government and Planning Legislation Amendment Act 2010. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 243 of the Local Government Act 1989. 3 Ordinary Return For item 5 in Form 2 of the Schedule to the Local Government (General) Regulations 20041 substitute— -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 19/2011 Local Government (General) Amendment Regulations 2011 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel "5. Particulars of any gift of or above the amount or value of $500 received by you, either directly or indirectly, other than a gift received from a relative*** of yours or received as hospitality at an event or function you attended in an official capacity as the Mayor, a Councillor, a member of Council staff or a member of a special committee.". ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
