No. 124/2011 Magistrates' Court Act 1989 Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) (Amendment No. 1) Rules 2011 The Chief Magistrate together with 2 Deputy Chief Magistrates jointly make the following Rules: 1 Object The object of these Rules is to amend the Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) Rules 2010 as a consequence of the commencement of the Civil Procedure Act 2010. 2 Authorising provisions These Rules are made under section 16 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 and all other enabling powers. 3 Summary orders (1) In Rule 2.04(f) of the Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) Rules 20101 , for "statement;" substitute "statement.". (2) Rule 2.04(g) of the Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) Rules 2010 is revoked. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
