Public Health and Wellbeing Further Amendment
Regulations 2011
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009 to
prescribe Hepatitis C as a prescribed disease for
the purposes of section 133 of the Public Health
and Wellbeing Act 2008.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 232 of
the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.

3 New Division 3A inserted
After Division 3 of Part 9 of the Public Health and
Wellbeing Regulations 20091 , insert—
"Division 3A—Closure of court or tribunal
79A Prescribed diseases—closure of court or
tribunal
For the purposes of section 133 of the Act,
Hepatitis C is a prescribed disease.".
