No. 139/2011 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Whistleblowers Protection Regulations 2001) Extension Regulations 2011 The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister responsible for the establishment of an anti-corruption commission, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 29 November 2011 Responsible Minister: ANDREW McINTOSH Minister responsible for the establishment of an anti-corruption commission MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Whistleblowers Protection Regulations 2001, which would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5(1) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5A and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
