No. 36/2010 Chattel Securities Act 1987 Chattel Securities (Registration) Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2010 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 1 June 2010 Responsible Minister: TIM PALLAS Minister for Roads and Ports TOBY HALLIGAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Chattel Securities (Registration) Regulations 2008 to increase certain fees by 2·25 per cent. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 28 of the Chattel Securities Act 1987. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2010. 4 Fees increased In column 4 of the Schedule to the Chattel Securities (Registration) Regulations 2008 1 — (a) in item 1(a), for "$5.80" substitute "$5.90"; (b) in item 1(b), for "$6.50" substitute "$6.60"; -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
