1 Fair Work Act 2009 s.285—Annual wage review Annual Wage Review 2026 (C2026/1) JUSTICE HATCHER, PRESIDENT SYDNEY, 24 DECEMBER 2025 Annual Wage Review 2026 – research program confirmed. [1] On 27 November 2025, I issued a Statement on the timetable and draft research program for the Annual Wage Review 2026. Submissions on the draft research program were sought by 12 December 2025. One submission was received and published to the Fair Work Commission’s website. [2] In its submission, the ACTU provided comments on the draft research program and suggested additional research on gender equality and budget standards. While the Expert Panel is not restricted to undertaking research on topics currently listed in the program, at this stage resource constraints pose limitations on both the volume and type of research that can be undertaken to inform this and future reviews. [3] The draft research program as published on 27 November 2025, is now confirmed.
