No. 40/2010 Motor Car Traders Act 1986 Motor Car Traders Amendment Regulations 2010 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 15 June 2010 Responsible Minister: TONY ROBINSON Minister for Consumer Affairs TOBY HALLIGAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Motor Car Traders Regulations 2008 to prescribe further particulars of a used motor car offered for sale for the purposes of section 52(1) of the Motor Car Traders Act 1986. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 90 of the Motor Car Traders Act 1986. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 October 2010. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 40/2010 Motor Car Traders Amendment Regulations 2010 2 4 Principal Regulations In these Regulations the Motor Car Traders Regulations 2008 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 5 Form of notice to be displayed on used vehicles In regulation 11(7) of the Principal Regulations, for "A to H in Forms 5 and 6 and items A to I" substitute "A to I in Forms 5 and 6 and items A to J". 6 Form 5 of Schedule 1 After Item H in Form 5 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations insert— "I. A statement as to whether the motor car is entered on the register of written-off vehicles or on an interstate written-off vehicles register within the meaning of the Road Safety Act 1986." 7 Form 6 of Schedule 1 After item H in Form 6 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations insert— "I. A statement as to whether the motor car is entered on the register of written-off vehicles or on an interstate written-off vehicles register within the meaning of the Road Safety Act 1986." 8 Form 7 of Schedule 1 After item I in Form 7 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations insert— "J. A statement as to whether the motor cycle is entered on the register of written-off vehicles or on an interstate written-off vehicles register within the meaning of the Road Safety Act 1986." ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
