No. 79/2010 Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment Regulations 2010 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 17 August 2010 Responsible Minister: DANIEL ANDREWS Minister for Health MATTHEW McBEATH Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to make amendments to the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009 as a result of the enactment of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009, which implements the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law as a law in Victoria. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 232 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 79/2010 Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment Regulations 2010 2 3 Exempt registered premises In regulation 15 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009 1 for paragraphs (a) to (d) substitute— "(a) the practice of a person registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law— (i) to practise in the dental profession as a dentist (other than as a student); and (ii) in the dentists division of that profession; (b) the practice of a person registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law to practise in the medical profession (other than as a student); (c) the practice of a person registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law to practise in the nursing and midwifery profession as a nurse (other than as a midwife or as a student); (d) the practice of a person registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law to practise in the podiatry profession (other than as a student);". ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
