Road Safety (Drivers) Amendment (Drug-Driving)
Regulations 2010
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009 to
provide that demerit points are no longer incurred
for a drug-driving offence.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of
the Road Safety Act 1986.
3 Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on
12 December 2010.
4 Schedule 3 amended
Items 3 and 4 of Schedule 3 to the Road Safety
(Drivers) Regulations 2009 1 are revoked.
