No. 38/2010 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Dangerous Goods (Explosives) Regulations 2000 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2010 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Finance, WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 8 June 2010 Responsible Minister: TIM HOLDING Minister for Finance, WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission TOBY HALLIGAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Dangerous Goods (Explosives) Regulations 2000 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 38/2010 Subordinate Legislation (Dangerous Goods (Explosives) Regulations 2000 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2010 2 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Dangerous Goods (Explosives) Regulations 2000 1 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 26 June 2011. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 27 June 2011. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
