No. 48/2010 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Petroleum Regulations 2000 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2010 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Energy and Resources, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 23 June 2010 Responsible Minister: PETER BATCHELOR Minister for Energy and Resources TOBY HALLIGAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Petroleum Regulations 2000 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Petroleum Regulations 2000 1 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 3 July 2011. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
