No. 102/2010 Surveying Act 2004 Surveying (Registration Fees) Amendment Regulations 2010 The Administrator of the State of Victoria as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 5 October 2010 Responsible Minister: GAVIN JENNINGS Minister for Environment and Climate Change MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Surveying (Registration Fees) Regulations 2005 to— (a) increase certain fees payable to the Board under the Surveying Act 2004; and (b) prescribe a fee that may be imposed for registration as a non-practising surveyor under the Act; and (c) prescribe a fee that may be imposed for renewal of registration as a non-practising surveyor under the Act; and (d) convert the fees payable to the Board under the Surveying Act 2004 to monetary units. -- 2 of 7 -- S.R. No. 102/2010 Surveying (Registration Fees) Amendment Regulations 2010 2 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 63 of the Surveying Act 2004. 3 Commencement (1) These Regulations, except for regulation 6, come into operation on 7 October 2010. (2) Regulation 6 comes into operation on 1 February 2011. 4 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Surveying (Registration Fees) Regulations 2005 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 5 New Schedule substituted For the Schedule to the Principal Regulations substitute— "SCHEDULE Item Details Fees 1 Application for registration under section 4(2)(d) of the Act $51.10 2 Registration as a surveyor under section 6(1) of the Act $184.05 3 Registration as a non-practising surveyor under section 6(1) of the Act $51.10 4 Renewal of registration under section 7(1) of the Act $184.05 5 Renewal of registration as a non-practising surveyor under section 7(1) of the Act $51.10 6 Late applications for renewal of registration under section 7(2) of the Act $51.10 7 Restoration of name to the register under section 12 of the Act $184.05 r. 2 -- 3 of 7 -- S.R.
