No. 119/2010 Working with Children Act 2005 Working with Children Amendment Regulations 2010 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 26 October 2010 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Working with Children Regulations 2006 to revoke the prescribed forms of working with children check card and make other related amendments. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 49 of the Working with Children Act 2005. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 December 2010. 4 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Working with Children Regulations 2006 1 are called the Principal Regulations. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 119/2010 Working with Children Amendment Regulations 2010 2 5 Amendment of objective Regulation 1(d) of the Principal Regulations is revoked. 6 Regulation 6 revoked Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is revoked. 7 Application fees In the Table in regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations, for "a working with children check card" substitute "an assessment notice document". 8 Schedules 3 and 4 revoked Schedules 3 and 4 to the Principal Regulations are revoked. ═══════════════ r. 5 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
