No. 161/2009 Crimes Act 1958 Crimes (Alibi Evidence) Revocation Regulations 2009 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 8 December 2009 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General TOBY HALLIGAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to revoke the Crimes (Alibi Evidence) Regulations 2003 as a consequence of the enactment of the Criminal Procedure Act 2009. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 399A of the Crimes Act 1958. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2010. 4 Revocation The Crimes (Alibi Evidence) Regulations 2003 1 are revoked. ═══════════════ -- 2 of 3 -- S.R.
