Fisheries Amendment Regulations 2009
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Fisheries Regulations 2009, to make minor
changes to the base numbers for certain classes of
access licence, which are used to calculate the
maximum number of licences that may be issued
for each of those classes of licence.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 153 of
the Fisheries Act 1995.
3 Adjustment number for calculating maximum
number of access licences
(1) In regulation 21(2) of the Fisheries Regulations
2009 1 , for "the Fisheries (Commercial Licences)
Regulations 2002" substitute "these Regulations".
(2) The Note at the foot of regulation 21(2) of the
Fisheries Regulations 2009 is revoked.
