No. 104/2009 Local Government Act 1989 Local Government (General) Amendment Regulations 2009 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 1 September 2009 Responsible Minister: RICHARD WYNNE Minister for Local Government TOBY HALLIGAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Local Government (General) Regulations 2004 to prescribe a higher total annual remuneration amount for the purpose of the definition of senior officer in section 3 of the Local Government Act 1989. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 243 of the Local Government Act 1989. 3 New Part 1A inserted After Part 1 of the Local Government (General) Regulations 2004 1 , insert— -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 104/2009 Local Government (General) Amendment Regulations 2009 2 "PART 1A—SENIOR OFFICER TOTAL ANNUAL REMUNERATION 5A Total annual remuneration for senior officer For the purpose of the definition of senior officer in section 3 of the Act, the prescribed total annual remuneration amount is $120 000. __________________". ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
