No. 24/2009 Road Safety Act 1986 Road Safety (Drivers) (Peer Passenger Restrictions) Interim Amendment Regulations 2009 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 3 March 2009 Responsible Minister: TIM PALLAS Minister for Roads and Ports RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to revoke regulations 3(2) and 6 of the Road Safety (Drivers) (Peer Passenger Restrictions) Interim Regulations 2008 so as to remove the current expiry date. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 15 March 2009. 4 Revocation of regulations 3(2) and 6 Regulations 3(2) and 6 of the Road Safety (Drivers) (Peer Passenger Restrictions) Interim Regulations 2008 1 are revoked. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
