No. 21/2009 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2009 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Roads and Ports, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 3 March 2009 Responsible Minister: TIM PALLAS Minister for Roads and Ports RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999 1 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 21/2009 Subordinate Legislation (Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2009 2 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 1 December 2009. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 2 December 2009. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
