No. 90/2009 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2009 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 18 August 2009 Responsible Minister: LYNNE KOSKY Minister for Public Transport TOBY HALLIGAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objectives The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999 1 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 90/2009 Subordinate Legislation (Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2009 2 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 23 August 2010. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 24 August 2010. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
