No. 26/2008 Road Safety Act 1986 Road Safety (General) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2008 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 15 April 2008 Responsible Minister: TIM PALLAS Minister for Roads and Ports RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (General) Regulations 1999— (a) to increase the infringement penalty for level crossing offences; and (b) to amend the infringement description relating to fog light use. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 16 April 2008. 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
