No. 18/2008 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Freedom of Information Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Attorney-General, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 1 April 2008 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Freedom of Information Regulations 1998 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Freedom of Information Regulations 19981 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 18/2008 Subordinate Legislation (Freedom of Information Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008 r. 4 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 14 April 2009. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 15 April 2009. ═══════════════ 2 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
