No. 35/2008 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Motor Car Traders Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Consumer Affairs, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 6 May 2008 Responsible Minister: TONY ROBINSON Minister for Consumer Affairs RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Motor Car Traders Regulations 1998 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Motor Car Traders Regulations 19981 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 25 May 2009. 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
