No. 34/2008 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Retirement Villages Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Consumer Affairs, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 30 April 2008 Responsible Minister: TONY ROBINSON Minister for Consumer Affairs RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Retirement Villages Regulations 1998 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Retirement Villages Regulations 19981 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 34/2008 Subordinate Legislation (Retirement Villages Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008 r. 4 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 25 May 2009. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 26 May 2009. ═══════════════ 2 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
