No. 17/2008 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) (Licence Fees) Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Finance, WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 18 March 2008 Responsible Minister: TIM HOLDING Minister for Finance, WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) (Licence Fees) Regulations 1998 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 17/2008 Subordinate Legislation (Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) (Licence Fees) Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008 r. 3 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) (Licence Fees) Regulations 19981 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 6 April 2009. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 7 April 2009. ═══════════════ 2 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
