No. 134/2008 Transport Act 1983 Transport (Infringements) Amendment (Obsolete Offences) Regulations 2008 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 11 November 2008 Responsible Minister: TIM PALLAS Minister for Roads and Ports RYAN HEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999 by revoking references to redundant offences relating to the operation of tow trucks. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 215 of the Transport Act 1983. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2009. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 134/2008 Transport (Infringements) Amendment (Obsolete Offences) Regulations 2008 2 4 Amendment of Schedule 3 In Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999 1 — (a) the heading "Tow Trucks" is revoked; and (b) all entries after that heading are revoked. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
