No. 100/2007 Gambling Regulation Act 2003 Gambling Regulation (Sports Betting Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 18 September 2007 Responsible Minister: TONY ROBINSON Minister for Gaming RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Gambling Regulation Regulations 2005 to prescribe certain fees to accompany applications made under the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 to the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 11.2.1 of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 October 2007. 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 100/2007 Gambling Regulation (Sports Betting Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 r. 4 4 New Division 2A of Part 9 inserted After Division 2 of Part 9 of the Gambling Regulation Regulations 20051 insert— "Division 2A—Sports betting fees 97A Sports controlling body application fee For the purposes of section 4.5.12(2)(c) of the Act, the prescribed fee to accompany an application for approval as a sports controlling body for a sports betting event is 196⋅5 fee units. 97B Application fee for Commission determination under section 4.5.24 For the purposes of section 4.5.24(2)(b) of the Act, the prescribed fee to accompany an application for a determination under section 4.5.26 of the Act is 228 fee units. 97C Application fee for a variation or revocation of determination For the purposes of section 4.5.27(2)(b) of the Act, the prescribed fee to accompany an application for a variation or revocation of a determination made under section 4.5.26 of the Act is 228 fee units.". ═══════════════ 2 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
