No. 119/2007 Magistrates' Court Act 1989 Magistrates' Court Civil Procedure (Amendment No. 20) Rules 2007 The Chief Magistrate together with 2 Deputy Chief Magistrates jointly make the following Rules: 1 Object The object of these Rules is to prescribe a venue of the Court for the purposes of the definition of civil registry court in section 3(1) of the Act. 2 Authorising provisions These Rules are made under section 16 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 and all other enabling powers. 3 Commencement These Rules come into operation on 29 October 2007. 4 Prescribed venues of the Court—section 3(1) of the Act In Appendix B to the Magistrates' Court Civil Procedure Rules 19991, after "Moe" insert "Moorabbin Justice Centre situated at 1140 Nepean Highway, Highett". 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
