No. 118/2007 Magistrates' Court Act 1989 Magistrates' Court (Criminal Procedure) (Prescribed Venue) Rules 2007 The Chief Magistrate together with 2 Deputy Chief Magistrates jointly make the following Rules: 1 Object The object of these Rules is to prescribe the Moorabbin Justice Centre as a venue of the Court for the purposes of section 82 of the Act. 2 Authorising provisions These Rules are made under section 16 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 and all other enabling powers. 3 Commencement These Rules come into operation on 29 October 2007. 4 Prescribed venues of the Court—section 82(2) of the Act In Schedule 1 to the Magistrates' Court (Criminal Procedure) Rules 20061, after "Moonee Ponds" insert "Moorabbin Justice Centre situated at 1140 Nepean Hwy, Highett". 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
