No. 107/2007 Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989 Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 2 October 2007 Responsible Minister: TONY ROBINSON Minister for Consumer Affairs RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Regulations 2006 to exempt a person from the application of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 31 of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989. 3 Person exempted from the application of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989 At the end of regulation 4 of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Regulations 20061 insert— 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
