No. 117/2007 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Corrections Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Corrections, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 17 October 2007 Responsible Minister: BOB CAMERON Minister for Corrections RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Corrections Regulations 1998 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Corrections Regulations 19981 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 11 May 2009. 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
