No. 114/2007 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Environment Protection (Residential Noise) Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 The Governor in Council on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Environment and Climate Change makes the following Regulations: Dated: 9 October 2007 Responsible Minister: GAVIN JENNINGS Minister for Environment and Climate Change RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Environment Protection (Residential Noise) Regulations 1997 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 114/2007 Subordinate Legislation (Environment Protection (Residential Noise) Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 r. 3 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Environment Protection (Residential Noise) Regulations 19971 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 27 October 2008. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 28 October 2008. ═══════════════ 2 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
