No. 13/2007 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Equipment (Public Safety) (Incident Notification) Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Finance, WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 20 March 2007 Responsible Minister: TIM HOLDING Minister for Finance, WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Equipment (Public Safety) (Incident Notification) Regulations 1997 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 13/2007 Subordinate Legislation (Equipment (Public Safety) (Incident Notification) Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 2 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Equipment (Public Safety) (Incident Notification) Regulations 19971 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 1 April 2008. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 2 April 2008. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
