Subordinate Legislation (Estate Agents (General,
Accounts and Audit) Regulations 1997 - Extension
of Operation) Regulations 2007
The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the
advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Consumer Affairs,
makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Estate Agents (General, Accounts
and Audit) Regulations 1997 for the period
specified in regulation 3.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under sections 5
and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3 Extension of operation
The operation of the Estate Agents (General,
Accounts and Audit) Regulations 19971 is
extended for the period beginning on the day on
which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue
of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act
1994 and ending on 19 May 2008.
4 Expiry
These Regulations expire on 20 May 2008.
