No. 47/2007 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Estate Agents (Professional Conduct) Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Consumer Affairs, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 12 June 2007 Responsible Minister: DANIEL ANDREWS Minister for Consumer Affairs RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Estate Agents (Professional Conduct) Regulations 1997 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 47/2007 Subordinate Legislation (Estate Agents (Professional Conduct) Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 2 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Estate Agents (Professional Conduct) Regulations 19971 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 16 June 2008. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 17 June 2008. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
