No. 55/2007 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Professional Boxing and Martial Arts Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Sport, Recreation and Youth Affairs, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 19 June 2007 Responsible Minister: JAMES MERLINO Minister for Sport, Recreation and Youth Affairs RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Professional Boxing and Martial Arts Regulations 1997 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 1 -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 55/2007 Subordinate Legislation (Professional Boxing and Martial Arts Regulations 1997 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 r. 3 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Professional Boxing and Martial Arts Regulations 19971 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 30 June 2008. 4 Expiry These Regulations expire on 1 July 2008. ═══════════════ 2 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
