No. 111/2006 Extractive Industries Development Act 1995 Extractive Industries Development (Amendment) Regulations 2006 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 22 August 2006 Responsible Minister: THEO THEOPHANOUS Minister for Resources RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Extractive Industries Development Regulations 1996 as a consequence of the enactment of the Infringements Act 2006. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 56 of the Extractive Industries Development Act 1995. 3. Revocations In the Extractive Industries Development Regulations 1996 1 — (a) in regulation 101(c) omit "provide for infringement notices and"; -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 111/2006 Extractive Industries Development (Amendment) Regulations 2006 2 (b) regulations 702, 703, 704, 705 and 706 are revoked; (c) Schedules 8 and 9 are revoked. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
