No. 26/2006 Magistrates' Court Act 1989 Magistrates' Court General (Infringements) Regulations 2006 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 14 March 2006 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe further provisions under which infringement notices may be issued in order that the enforcement procedure under Schedule 7 to the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 may be used. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 140 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 26/2006 Magistrates' Court General (Infringements) Regulations 2006 2 3. Additional provisions under which infringement notices may be served In regulation 1203 of the Magistrates' Court General Regulations 20001 before paragraph (a) insert— "(aa) clause 1 of Schedule 5 to the Commonwealth Games Arrangements Act 2001 in respect of a section of that Act referred to in that clause, and an offence against the Commonwealth Games Arrangements (Games Management Areas) Regulations 2006 2 made under that Act except for regulations 7(1), 7(2) and 9 of those Regulations;". ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
