No. 88/2006 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 1996 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2006 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Agriculture, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 12 July 2006 Responsible Minister: BOB CAMERON Minister for Agriculture JUSTINE FRANKLIN Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 19961 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under section 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 88/2006 Subordinate Legislation (Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 1996 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2006 2 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 1996 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 29 July 2007. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
