No. 160/2006 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Transport Accident Regulations 1996 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2006 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for WorkCover, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 October 2006 Responsible Minister: JOHN LENDERS Minister for WorkCover RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Transport Accident Regulations 1996 1 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 160/2006 Subordinate Legislation (Transport Accident Regulations 1996 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2006 2 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Transport Accident Regulations 1996 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 17 June 2007. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
