No. 139/2006 Transport Act 1983 Transport (Conduct) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 10 October 2006 Responsible Minister: PETER BATCHELOR Minister for Transport RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005 to revoke certain regulations as a result of amendments made to the Transport Act 1983 by the Rail Safety Act 2006. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 56 and 249B of the Transport Act 1983. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2007. 4. Revocation of certain regulations Regulations 37, 38, 43, 44, 45, 50, 51, 52 and 53 of the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 20051 are revoked. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
