No. 65/2005 Audit Act 1994 Audit (Public Bodies) Regulations 2005 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 28 June 2005 Responsible Minister: JOHN LENDERS Minister for Finance RUTH LEACH Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe certain persons and bodies as public bodies for the purposes of the Audit Act 1994. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 3 and 21 of the Audit Act 1994. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 28 June 2005. 4. Public bodies Each person or body listed in the Schedule is prescribed as a public body for the purposes of the definition of "public body" in section 3 of the Audit Act 1994. __________________ -- 2 of 3 -- S.R.
