No. 38/2005 Casino Control Act 1991 Casino Control (Boundary Redefinition Fee) Regulations 2005 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 May 2005 Responsible Minister: JOHN PANDAZOPOULOS Minister for Gaming RUTH LEACH Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the fee to accompany an application for the redefinition of the boundaries of a casino. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 167 of the Casino Control Act 1991. 3. Revocation The Casino Control (Boundary Redefinition Fee) Regulations 1997 1 are revoked. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 38/2005 Casino Control (Boundary Redefinition Fee) Regulations 2005 2 4. Fee on application for redefinition of casino boundaries (1) For the purposes of section 17(3) of the Casino Control Act 1991, the fee to accompany an application for the redefining of the boundaries of a casino is— (a) 321 fee units if the proposed redefinition will not require a change either to the situation within the casino of gaming equipment or to the manner in which operations are conducted in the casino; or (b) 843·5 fee units in any other case. (2) The question of whether the proposed redefinition will require a change to the situation within the casino of gaming equipment or to the manner in which operations are conducted in the casino is to be determined by the Commission. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
