Fisheries Act 1995
Fisheries (Levies) Regulations 2005
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are to make
further provision in relation to levies payable
under the Fisheries Act 1995.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 151
and 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995.
3. Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Fisheries Regulations
1998 1 are called the Principal Regulations.
4. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 April
2005.

5. General permit levy changes for developing fisheries
(banded morwong and jellyfish)
(1) In regulation 617(2) of the Principal Regulations,
for "The holder of a commercial fishery licence or
an aquaculture licence that is of a class specified
in Column 1 of Table B of Schedule 12"
substitute "The holder of a commercial fishery
access licence that is of a class specified in
Column 1 of Table B of Schedule 12, or the
holder of a fish receiver's licence that is of a
class specified in Column 1 of Table BA of
Schedule 12, or the holder of an aquaculture
licence that is of a class specified in Column 1 of
Table BB of Schedule 12".
(2) In regulation 617B of the Principal Regulations,
for "$3320" substitute "$2042".
(3) In regulation 617C of the Principal Regulations,
for "$10 000" substitute "$10 225".
6. Table B substituted in Schedule 12
In Schedule 12 of the Principal Regulations, for
Table B substitute—
