DECISION [1] This is an application by Mr Thomas Schulz and Mr Warren John Bray being respectively the General Secretary and General President of the Bacon Factories' Union of Employees, Queensland ("BFUEQ") for approval to amend rule 5 -- the eligibility rule -- of the BFUEQ rules under s. 474 of the Industrial Relations Act 1999 (Qld) ("the Act"). [2] The application has been made in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Industrial Relations Regulation 2000 (Qld). The proposed amendment to the eligibility rule is set out in schedule 2 to the application dated 7 June 2013 and has been made in accordance with the rules of the BFUEQ. [3] There is no objection to the proposed amendment. [4] None of the matters outline in s. 474(3) of the Act was identified in the course of the hearing. [5] In those circumstances, I am required by the provisions of the Act to grant an order approving the amendment to the eligibility rule. I do so.
