Controlled Substances Regulations 1995 - Extension
of Operation) Regulations 2005
The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Health, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled
Substances Regulations 1995 1 for the period
specified in regulation 3.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5 and
28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Commencement
The operation of the Drugs, Poisons and
Controlled Substances Regulations 1995 is
extended for the period beginning on the day on
which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue
of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act
1994 and ending on 29 May 2006.
