No. 153/2005 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Trade Measurement Regulations 1995 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2005 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Consumer Affairs, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 29 November 2005 Responsible Minister: MARSHA THOMSON Minister for Consumer Affairs RUTH LEACH Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Trade Measurement Regulations 1995 1 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 153/2005 Subordinate Legislation (Trade Measurement Regulations 1995 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2005 2 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Trade Measurement Regulations 1995 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 18 December 2006. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
