REPORT ON DECISION (as edited) Delivering her decision from the Bench on 5 February 2009, Vice President Linnane stated: "Matter RIO/2008/177 is an application by the Building Service Contractors' Association of Australia - Queensland Division, Industrial Organisation of Employers (BSCAA) to alter the eligibility rule of the organisation. I am satisfied that the proposed alteration has been made in accordance with the rules of the organisation and in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Relations Act 1999 (Act) and the Industrial Relations Regulation 2000 (Regulation). There is no objection to the application. None of the matters outlined in s. 474(3) of the Act have been identified in the course of this hearing. In those circumstances I am required by the provisions of the Act to grant consent to the amendment of the rules, filed on 21 November 2008, and I so do. RIO/2008/178 is an application to amend the BSCAA's List of Callings. The callings fall within the rules of the union as varied. This application also has been made in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Regulation. The List of Callings is amended to include the term "traffic control". There is no objection to the amendment to the BSCAA's List of Callings. In those circumstances I consent to the change in the List of Callings.
