No. 95/2004 Court Security Act 1980 Court Security Regulations 2004 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 27 July 2004 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General DIANE CASEY Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe for the purposes of the Court Security Act 1980— (a) certain tribunals, bodies and persons as a court; and (b) certain holders of office as a clerk. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 6 of the Court Security Act 1980. 3. Revocation The Regulations listed in Schedule 1 are revoked. 5. Prescribed courts and clerks For the purposes of the Court Security Act 1980— (a) a tribunal, body or person specified in column 1 of Schedule 2 is a court; and (b) the person holding the office specified in column 2 of Schedule 2 in relation to a court is the clerk of that court. __________________ r. 4 -- 3 of 5 -- Victorian Legislation Parliamentary Documents S.R.
