[Extract from Queensland Government Industrial Gazette, dated 4 August, 2006, Vol. 182, No 15, page 537] QUEENSLAND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1999 - s. 137 - application for order Automotive, Metals, Engineering, Printing and Kindred Industries Industrial Union of Employees, Queensland AND Queensland Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited, Industrial Organisation of Employers and Others (A/2005/61) ORDER - APPRENTICES AND TRAINEES' WAGES AND CONDITIONS (EXCLUDING CERTAIN QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT ENTITIES) 2003 DEPUTY PRESIDENT SWAN COMMISSIONER EDWARDS COMMISSIONER BROWN 10 July 2006 AMENDMENT (Correction of Error) Whereas an error occurred in the amendment to the abovementioned Order as published in the Queensland Government Industrial Gazette of 7 April 2006, Vol. 181, No. 13, pages 567-568, the following correction is made to be effective as from 24 March 2006: By deleting Note (ii) of clause 2.1.3 of the amendment and inserting the following in lieu thereof. (ii) Apprentices shall be entitled to progress to the next Wage Level of attainment of the Competency Weighting Points specified or 12 months for full-time apprentices and 24 months for part-time or school-based apprentices, after commencing on the respective Wage Level, whichever is the earlier.
