No. 136/2004 Fisheries Act 1995 Fisheries (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2004 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 9 November 2004 Responsible Minister: BOB CAMERON Minister for Agriculture DIANE CASEY Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objectives The objectives of these Regulations are to— (a) make consequential changes to references to certain Aquaculture licences; (b) correct a reference to a class of Aquaculture licence in Schedule 12. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995. 3. Principal Regulations In these regulations, the Fisheries Regulations 1998 1 are called the Principal Regulations. -- 2 of 4 -- Victorian Legislation Parliamentary Documents S.R. Consequential amendments In the Principal Regulations— (a) in regulation 203(l) for "Licence;" substitute "Licence."; (b) insert the following heading to regulation 617A— "Levy for Aquaculture (Crown Land— Bivalve Shellfish) Licence for the Victorian Shellfish Quality Assurance Program"; (c) in regulations 617A(4) and 617A(7) for "Aquaculture (Crown Land) Type A Licence" substitute "Aquaculture (Crown Land—Bivalve Shellfish) Licence"; (d) in regulation 617A(5) for "Aquaculture (Crown Land) Type A Licences" (wherever occurring) substitute "Aquaculture (Crown Land—Bivalve Shellfish) Licences"; (e) in Schedule 15 after "119B" insert ";". 5. Correction to reference in Table A to Schedule 12 In Table A to Schedule 12 of the Principal Regulations, in column 2 of item 36 for "Aquaculture (Crown Land) Licence" substitute "Aquaculture (Crown Land—Other) Licence". 6. Revocation of ineffective provisions Regulations 23(1) and 23(3) of the Fisheries (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2004 2 are revoked. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- Victorian Legislation Parliamentary Documents S.R.
